Autocord III

c1965. 120 or 220 film. Minolta 75mm f3.5 Rokkor lens in Citizen MVL shutter B, 1-1/500th.  Nonmetered.  Special dial setting for use of 120 or 220 film.  Lever advance and special lever focusing. This camera had many nice modern features; and is representative of the last of the TLR's made in Japan. There were 24 different Minolta twin lens reflex cameras. They started in 1937, and this was one of the last models produced by Minolta. There were three different models of Minolta TLR's produced in 1965; the Minolta Autocord III, the Minolta Autocord CdS, and the Minolta Autocord CdS III. The only difference between the Model III and the other 1965 models was it lacked the uncoupled meter. After about 1965 TLR's started to go out of fashion. These three TLR's were the last models made by Minolta.
