Ansco Automatic Reflex f3.5

(model II)

In 1902 E. & H.T. Anthony; and Scovill and Adams merged. The shorter Ansco name was adopted in 1907. This Model II TLR was manufactured in Binghamton New York.  The original model (I) TLR was marketed starting in 1947. The model II was sold around 1950, and was one of the few really nice 1950's ANSCO cameras.  The list price was $165. The shutter of the model II had a top speed of 1/400th, and there was a flash sync on the lower front.  The lens was a coated Ansco Anastigmat 83mm f3,5 lens. It had knob focusing, and lever cocking/film advance.
